Why did my Monte Carlo results drop so dramatically?
It’s likely you have a “lockout” of funds that cannot be used when you need them. This is usually the culprit when Monte Carlo results seem to be way too low. This also can occur when Qualified Tax-Deferred accounts, such as IRAs, cannot be used before age 59.5. This is the default, but can be changed.
